New names: Roots Manuva, Foreign Beggars, Jack Flash and BPM
UK crew..this is your time. We are very pleased to announce the addition Mr Smithe AKA Roots Fi Discotheque AKA Roots Manuva to the 2010 line up. All the way from the muddy shores of South London to the open fields of Hradec Kralove. Roots Manuva's career has gone from strength to strength. Long gone are the days of DJ MK mixtapes, slurring over well know American beats. These days you're more likely to find Rodney jamming in the booth to the futuristic sounds of UK gems such as Toddla T. Roots Manuva's last album - Slime & Reason was a snap shot into the mind of the soundsystem yoot done good. So don't be a mug, Juggle Tings proper and make sure you're there to see the show.
Another great addition for the base heads? No sweat! Foreign Beggars alright for you? The Beggatron boys will be in full effect in the Summer sun. Watch your eardrums as the bass lines promise to be oversized! Surely a must see. Czech heads still talk about the Foreign Beggars show 5 years ago..Imagine the new material that will get laced in 2010?!
Relative newcomer, Jack Flash will also be part of the performance team at HHK 2010. Straight from the Hudd! You may be aware of Jack from his 24 Youtube series which he kicked off earlier this year. A promising UK artist who walks the fine line of skill & lyrical relevance perfectly. Sound of Colours EP coming soon..Groundwurq stand up!
