Madlib at Hip Hop Kemp 2012
Mr Blunted in The Bomb Shelter drops in this year's Rap-fest. Madlib the bad kid, Beat Konducta will be in full effect, performing tracks from his enormous back catalogue of gems. The Stones Throw artist is no stranger to the stage.

The Californian native has no less than 9 solo studio albums and EP's with many, many collaborative projects and
releases. The Loop Digger will be joined by his recent musical counterpart: Freddie Gibbs. Gibbs has been called labeled the "Midwest's unofficial street poet", releasing a number of mixtapes that were as complex as they were rugged and thugged-out. His sound is influenced by the likes of Biggie, 2Pac, UGK, and Cleveland's Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. In November 2011, Madlib produced and released an EP with Gibbs entitled "Thuggin", and should be releasing another
collaborative project with him, called "MadGibbs" in the near future.
Be sure to catch the fresh duo's live show! Another notable mention to this year's line-up is Stones Throw's DâM-Funk. DâM has that unmistakable smooth sound. With Stone Throw's support the artist grew to success with his flawless 2009 debut album: "Toeachizown". The album served as a musical introduction to the world
of DâM. Smooth grooves and love lost are often the theme, all set to a bumb-soul filled sound track. DâM makes funk for the future man.
Other EU additions: Slovakia's Moja Reč. Poland's Malpa. Unfortunately. due to technical difficulties beyond our control neither Gangrene (Alchemist & Oh No) or Dudley Perkins & Georgia Anne Muldrow will be performing at this year's Hip Hop Kemp.
